Hello! My name is Jasmine Garrett. I'm a story artist and illustrator originating from Detroit, Michigan. Currently, I'm working as a freelance artist creating storyboards, comics, and illustrations.

 

As a freelance story artist and illustrator, I have worked on various independent projects. I have storyboarded animated shorts, drawn comics, and illustrated character concepts for clients.

 

I love creating and telling stories. A lot of my work is character-driven, and my stories focus on exploring the world through the character’s perspective. When creating stories, my goal is to take the audience to a different world, allowing them to connect and resonate with different feelings, ideas, and experiences.

 

I look to be someone that can contribute to the storytelling of the production. I believe my education and experience make me someone who can adapt to any type of animation production. My biggest strength is the ability to quickly and efficiently adapt and learn, allowing me to catch on in a fast-paced work environment.

 

My educational background includes graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television. My professional goal is to develop and grow my career in TV animation production, with directing being a long-term goal.
